One of the challenges to developing an IoT solution is getting devices connected to the cloud. Join this session, to learn how Microsoft is helping our partners and customers to accelerate time-to-deployment through client offerings that connect to both Azure IoT Suite and Azure IoT Hub.
This was a fun one! I spent some time with Jimmy Bogard on his tremendously successful open source project called AutoMapper. If you have not heard of it then you have no doubt, like me, wasted precious keystrokes on manually converting from one object type to another by mapping properties in code. AutoMapper helps eliminate the need for that completely and goes a step further by even making queries to a database more compact and concise.
He also spends some time talking about what makes for great open source projects - oddly enough its not what I thought he would say.
Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp are both based, or build on the Flex Management Architecture (FMA). But what is the FMA really? How is it build, which components and services are involved and how do they all interact making it a more highly available and robust platform, or architecture then the Independent Management Architecture (IMA) ever was? During this session I will try and answer all of these questions while also briefly touching on the 'evolution' the FMA had gone though coming from XenDesktop version 5.x to where it is today with XenDesktop version 7.8 right around the corner.
