Learn how Microsoft's Hybrid cloud backup solution can help you leverage Azure to eliminate traditional tape backup as well reduce/eliminate branch office backup infrastructure. In addition to that, we will show a cool demo backing up multiple environments which aligns with DPM's vision of supporting heterogeneous workloads. This session will also cover real world customer deployments, best practices for protecting applications in a hybrid environment.
When building solutions for the Cloud it is critical to understand that every architecture decision has even more impacts than before as a bad code might get you out of business. For this reason in this session we will be focusing on:
Breaking down the baseline concepts of Cloud design
Defining the critical considerations which we should have when designing new Cloud solutions
Looking at Architectural Patterns which can help us succeed in this space, like Microservices, CQRS and Event Sourcing
Looking at real life examples of Azure Cloud Architectures, the trade-offs and results
Lessons Learned Building Azure Solutions
The key goal of this session is to create awareness of what considerations, architectural patterns and trade-offs should be done in order to have successful Cloud solutions and even more specific to Azure solutions.
Launched in 2014, TW R-Ladies is a meetup for female who are interested in data science and R computing in Taiwan. Over the past two years, we've held 24+ monthly meetups and produced more than 30 female speakers (awesome, right?) with regular participant 30+ women every month. Our mission is to build a more friendly network for female R users and developers, and moreover to contribute our knowledge to the whole R community. You can follow our facebook page if you are interested in our activity :)
