Have a look at the latest Cloud Technologies from Microsoft. Learn about the next Microsoft Cloud Platform Server called Nano Server and Windows Containers. Both solutions are built for the future and will fundamentally change how we do IT. Learn why we need Nano Server and Windows Containers and how we deploy, manage and operate them.
Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp are both based, or build on the Flex Management Architecture (FMA). But what is the FMA really? How is it build, which components and services are involved and how do they all interact making it a more highly available and robust platform, or architecture then the Independent Management Architecture (IMA) ever was? During this session I will try and answer all of these questions while also briefly touching on the 'evolution' the FMA had gone though coming from XenDesktop version 5.x to where it is today with XenDesktop version 7.8 right around the corner.
Optimization is very hard topic which requires deep understanding of how underline system works. While every app is unique in its implementation, there are common areas that might improve app performance and memory usage in general. This especially true when apps were updated from previous versions on Windows. In this session, Mickey MacDonald talks about these common areas, how to optimize, and how to plan for low memory and hardware constraints.
Even though you're watching this on-demand, Mickey wants to help. Post your questions, comments, etc below or tweet it, mentioning @cdndevs.
