With nearly continuous updates to our cloud infrastructure and major innovations just around the corner, it can be tough to find the time to keep up. Matt McSpirit kicks off Day 3 of TechNet Virtual Conference with a look at some of the Microsoft infrastructure technology you should be trying out for yourself. Tune in for your last chance to win a drone, Lumia 950 XL or Tech Rewards points.
We live in a world of heterogeneous devices. In this session we’ll discuss the pros and cons of a number of strategies for producing cross-platform applications. Starting with HTML, moving through hybrid apps up to native apps, Mitch will explain the architectural patterns of each approach and explore the use-cases in which each approach is most appropriate. At the end of this session you’ll be much better equipped to decide on the best strategy for internal, B2B and B2C applications that need to be available to the entire audience, regardless of the device they use.
Apps should be tested before submission. Every app is unique, so a unique test plan should be created to test the components of each app. When creating the test plan, a few factors should be taken into account: app modules; how those modules interact within the app and in which order they are initialized; and which modules are required for the app to run. Based on this info, the modules should be tested. In this session, Mickey talks about how, through testing, you can ensure the highest quality for your app.
