Bring your laptop to this session! Join members of the Cortana Analytics team for a hands-on workshop to practice building an experiment in Azure ML.This session will start with a short demo showing how to build an Azure ML experiment. You can follow along and build the experiment on your PC as the instructors explain what the experiment does, why the algorithms used were chosen, and key decisions in the experiment design. You'll then get 90 minutes to work on your own experiment. Depending on your experience level, you can:
Work your way through an online walkthrough (we'll provide pointers to several different tutorials)
Make changes to an existing experiment in the Azure ML Gallery to alter how it functions
Create a new experiment in the Azure ML Studio using an existing dataset
Now that you've released your app out to the world, do you know how it's performing in the hands of real users? How long are they waiting for screens to load, or are they using that new feature you're so excited about? If you can't answer questions like these, you're effectively flying blind.
There's a lot of guidance for monitoring on the web, but what about mobile apps? In this session we'll look at the kinds of things you should be paying attention to, and then take an existing app and walk through adding various forms of instrumentation to it.
Model-View-ViewModel is the most popular UI separation pattern for building loosely coupled and maintainable XAML applications. In this session you will get a quick review of the fundamentals of the MVVM pattern and then will see how to apply it in the context of the new Universal Windows Platform of Windows 10. You'll learn how to seamlessly fit the pattern into the native constructs of data binding, components, navigation, and application lifecycle of a Windows 10 application.
