Tara Walker, a Xamarin enthusiast and AWS Technical Evangelist, will show you how you can build great mobile apps that leverage the Cloud with Xamarin and Xamarin Forms. We will walk through using Visual Studio, Xamarin, Xamarin Forms with Shared Projects, as well as, Xamarin Forms with PCLs. The session will include a step-by-step journey in which we will build a working cross-platform mobile app to run natively on iOS, Android and Windows Phone and how to connect a data service to funnel data to the app. You'll be ready to learn how you can build your own cross-platform mobile app with Xamarin and the exciting Xamarin Forms technology which may be the key to forthcoming Mobile Development.
This session will focus on best practices and new capabilities in Azure Service Bus that will enable you to build cloud solutions integrated with a powerful messaging platform. In addition to showing you how to use the service we will talk extensively about how the service works (as in why to use it in those particular ways). Topics covered will include client capabilities, temporal control, eventual vs instantaneous consistency models, transactions, and availability & redundancy and runtime aspects.
You already know the ingredients: Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V, Microsoft System Center, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Visual Studio. Now, using real-world customer examples and a comprehensive demo, learn how to weave these technologies together into a practical, end-to-end, turnkey solution. The demo shows you how enterprise IT can create a secure, multi-tenant, policy-driven cloud that spans from your datacenter into Azure. You also learn how application owners and developers can use this cloud to deploy, manage and seamlessly move .NET and Java applications between private and public resources (without code changes!) using a solution from Apprenda and Microsoft.
