In this video I had the privilege of talking to Ian Cooper about an open source project called Brighter. Brighter is built for scalable applications through the use of CQRS pattern. Its a truly interesting approach to building systems that was both eye opening and merits our consideration.

In this session, we’ll take a look at how the DNS-SD API can be used for creating multi-user applications without needing to setup a web server or any other complex systems; all you need is for all devices to be on the same network! We also show you how to utilize search and recommendations to move from a static site to a dynamic and user engaging portal.
