So trying to embrace the new modern web standards may become a daunting task, specially on more legacy websites built to specific versions of Internet Explorer. However, we may implement some changes that may result in a much interoperable website to all modern browsers running on different devices and platforms. For that, we present VorlonJS, a tool that may be used to debug mobile web experiences and look at standards. We're having a deep dive on the tool!

SQL Server connections in cloud scenarios – including with Windows Azure SQL Database – have an inherent degree of unreliability when compared to local SQL Server client/server connections. These challenges to reliability derive from several factors, including inconsistent Internet connectivity, machines in a cluster failing over and databases switching partitions. In this video, you’ll see how to use the new ADO.NET Connection Resiliency feature to add an extra level of resiliency and address these cloud-specific database connection considerations.
